When I look at this chart, two things come to mind. One, there is no Windows Phone — justifiably. We’re so used to seeing Microsoft in all facets of technology, but they are noticeably absent in smart phones.
Two, Palm is clearly under-resourced compared to other leaders in this space. If only Palm could launch the Pre sooner after 2009’s CES and if only they could ramp up the Palm App Catalog faster, they could be more of a competitor. Microsoft, please buy Palm and save the WebOS.
