This is a survey result from On Device Research. In most developing countries it’s more economically feasible to build wireless (3G) infrastructure than to lay fiber optic cables. Mobile devices are also less intimidating than PCs for internet access. They are also with you more often than not (I’m lost without my mobile phone). Both are reasons why mobile internet use will continue to rise.
