Wanted: A search engine that indexes and prioritizes my likes, shares and retweets

Our internet experience is increasingly social these days. We don’t just email, we share good links through various means, we click the Like button to give our vote of approval, we Re-Tweet and Re-Blog. As the internet explodes with more content, and our options to share links become increasingly numerous, keeping track of information becomes a problem. Too many times I have tried to recall and search for an article I previously re-tweeted on Twitter. Or did I Like it on Google Reader? Or did I find it on Digg? Maybe shared it on Facebook?

The fact that we somehow indicated our “liking” of an article means that it’s important to us and that we may want to refer to it again at a later time. But none of the search engines out there takes this into account. Google may be moving in this direction when they introduced Google Profiles, but they haven’t incorporated it into their search results.

Another service that could (should) be moving in this direction is Friendfeed. Friendfeed is already an aggregator, has good search capability and knows what your tweets and likes are. However right now they are only indexing titles, not the content of the articles you share and like.

If you know a service out there that already does what I’m talking about, please let me know in the comment.
