Ken Pattern is a Canadian artist living in Jakarta, Indonesia. Among his work are lithographs depicting urban Jakarta. Above is one of his works titled “Food Court.” Those are food carts that street vendors push around town, usually to sell noodles and fried rice. In the background is the tallest building in Jakarta where I used to work.
